NEW: NextGeneration II
Up to 400 W charge power

Universal charge-/discharge gear with integrated balancing circuits.
Multifunction items for Ni-Cd, Ni-MH, Lead-, Li-Poly, Li-Ion and Li-FePo4 batteries.
Mini-USB port as a standard.
Firmware updates possible via this port and the “Akkusoft” of Martin Adler.
Patented automatic current calculation for Nickel batteries.
“Plug & Play” automatic charging with the 3 above mentioned Lithium battery types in combination with BalCab10 and BalCab20.
This charger offers the balancing circuits build in and free of charge.
THE easy and simple way to charge!
The most important new features in comparison to the last nextGeneration charger.

• Two identical charge and discharge stages.
Communication ports
• Mini-USB interface* as a standard – to read out and view data by the “Akkusoft”.
• Two AMS (Akku Memory Schnittstellen (interfaces)) as a standard
to read out parameters of battery packs or adjusting device parameters.
• Two 8 pin EH connectors as a standard to connect
standard balancing adapters for different battery types.
• next-Conn-Set-II (Temperature sensor, 2 switch outputs + 2 cables) build in or alternatively as an accessory.

• Large graphical LCD with white back lighting.

• Each output is able to charge e.g. 36 Nickel cells or 14 Lithium cells.

• Each output are asssigned to 7 balancing units to balance in total up to 14 Lithium batteries.

• When packs of 8 or more cells are connected to the balancer groups
then both balancing groups are directed to charge output 1…
… for this reason it is possible to balance up to 14 LiPo cells in one pack.
If the charging outputs are not coupled (see below)
then the charge output 2 can be additionally used without balancers.

• It is possible to parallel internal both charging outputs of the next-14 chargers to the charge output 1…
… it follows that the charge output 1 doubles its power.
The output 2 can be used (probably) to discharge batteries.

• Relatively quiet fan with temperature controlled variable speed.
Two fans are used to cool the next 14-350 to keep it cool with high power charge- and especially discharge use.

• Real time clock in the next 14-350 to put
a time stamp to the filed charge-/discharge curves.

• No rising voltage on the charger’s input (into the power supply or car battery) when discharge programs are used.
The batteries are discharged by an electronic load and not – as before – by a re-energy transfer into the car battery.

• Different balancing adapters available with Schulze BalCabXX connector system and/or EH connector system.

(*) Hint
To use the USB interface of the nextGeneration II chargers the necessary USB driver file has to be downloaded from the section C4 of our homepage (schulze-next-II.inf) and installed on the PC.
